Endless roads - excursion to nowhere
a lamenting ode to my broken soul
will I leave behind or will I ever strive
for a purpose once for all and for all
this existence is my exile
nothingness my one true home
my life's been a constant cycle
of dying, trying over again
the womb of sorrow in my mind
gave birth to one eternal lie
my utmost wish shall be surviving
for it is what mankind always did
It bloomed in a way
Like nothing ever did
one thousand thorns
and no blood to shed
So the pain was born
and no tear to shed
You can do what you will
You can‘t will what you will

Burden
05:32

I see no sense in counting the days
when there's only one left,
day after day
I promised to bloom, I promised to perish
forgot it's the cycle that I should cherish
my existence as an act of rebellion
here I am, damned to be free
forge ahead and I will not follow
trot after and I will not lead
The heaviest weight we have to carry:
the burden of eternal recurrence
Nothing stays
Nothing leaves
And I numb myself
Forever
is there more to it?
is there more to know?
I was born to die
You were born to lose
When I sleep tonight
will I start anew?
Am I kind enough
to ever let you go?

Vortex
07:22

Bury your sunset
Bury your dawn
We‘re only a burden
Forever undone
Born to perish and not to stay
So fade away, fade away
For every moment you wish to forget
For every heartbreak that you‘ve felt
For all the times you wished you‘d vanish
Void of fulfillment, fulfillment is death
There‘s no redeemer, no 3rd wall to breach
Bane of existance, no target to reach
The crop has withered, cattle has died
in greifbarer Nähe: our demise
Alpha and Omega of our existence
Inertia took our last resistance
Eternally driven to the vortex of pain
mankind‘s loss, nobody‘s gain
Bury your sunset
Bury your dawn
We‘re only a burden
Forever undone
Lost all life
And so i steal it
I am the death
And so i bring it
God is dead, we all killed him
God is dead, we all killed him
No salvation - No matter the ritual
We rot to pieces - The ultimate fact of life
No greater cause - For our existence
Repeated for all generations to come
